How to achieve streak-free window cleaning
Start with the window sill and the window frame. Use a little water with washing-up liquid and a soft sponge, dry the frame with a cotton cloth and remove coarse dirt from the panes with a sponge. Work in a circular motion from top to bottom, taking up the cleaning water with a squeegee. Start at the top and pull it horizontally across the windscreen. Dry the squeegee briefly after each pass with a lint-free cloth. Dry the corners of the window with a microfibre cloth. Polish the pane with chamois leather, newspaper or a nylon stocking.

You don't always need to use household chemical cleaners, sometimes white vinegar or washing-up liquid can be just as effective. Step 7:
After cleaning the windows, you can empty and rinse the drip tray over the sink.
Professional tip:
You should never clean a marble window sill with glass cleaner. Instead use a marble cleaner or cleaning agent with a pH value of 7 to 8. (please always test the surface)
