How to achieve streak-free window cleaning
Start with the window sill and the window frame. Use a little water with washing-up liquid and a soft sponge, dry the frame with a cotton cloth and remove coarse dirt from the panes with a sponge. Work in a circular motion from top to bottom, taking up the cleaning water with a squeegee. Start at the top and pull it horizontally across the windscreen. Dry the squeegee briefly after each pass with a lint-free cloth. Dry the corners of the window with a microfibre cloth. Polish the pane with chamois leather, newspaper or a nylon stocking.
What to use when cleaning windows
You don't always need to use household chemical cleaners, sometimes white vinegar or washing-up liquid can be just as effective. Vinegar neutralises limescale in tap water and helps you to clean windows without streaks. Simply add a dash of vinegar to the cleaning water. This trick is particularly useful for bathroom windows. Step 1:

Step 3:
Spray the window pane with the spray bottle and remove the dirt from the glass pane with the microfibre wiper. Proceed systematically from top to bottom.

Switch on the window vacuum cleaner and hold it against the window pane with the rubber lip. It is best to start in the top left-hand corner of the window.
Step 5:
Pass the window vacuum cleaner along the pane in a straight line from top to bottom. The dirty water is automatically extracted and collected in the collection container.
Step 6:
You should wipe off the rubber lip of the vacuum cleaner with a microfibre cloth.
Step 7:
After cleaning the windows, you can empty and rinse the drip tray over the sink.
Professional tip:
You should never clean a marble window sill with glass cleaner. Instead use a marble cleaner or cleaning agent with a pH value of 7 to 8. (please always test the surface)
