Lidl Pay is the digital payment wallet within your Lidl Plus app that enables you to pay in Lidl Stores and/or for Lidl E-charging. Using it is very easy: enter your card details in the ‘My wallet’ section of the app, which you'll find in the 'Account or 'More' section at the bottom of your screen, and activate Lidl Pay to start using.

To enter your account details, please proceed as follows:

1. Click on the 'Account' or 'More' icon at the bottom of the app's home screen and click on Lidl Pay in the 'Wallet' section. Follow the instructions to register and add your card details to Lidl Pay. You will be asked to confirm the registration of your card in Lidl Pay through your bank via a 2-factor-authentication.

2. To use Lidl Pay after successfully completing the registration, go to your digital Lidl Plus card and select the option “Pay with Lidl Pay”.

You can use Lidl Pay as a payment method for your purchases at a regular till or at one of our self-checkouts. To use Lidl Pay, go to your Lidl Plus digital card and activate the ‘Pay with Lidl Pay’ toggle. After scanning the Lidl Pay QR code, tell the cashier you would like to pay with Lidl Pay.

For security and legal reasons (PSDII compliance), it might be necessary that you authenticate the Lidl Pay payment in your banking application. The exact authentication process depends on your bank´s implementation. If your bank has requested you authenticate the Lidl Pay payment, you need to approve the payment through your bank to be able to complete the purchase with Lidl Pay.

You need to click on the 'Payment Method', in the 'Wallet' section (found by clicking on the 'Account' or 'More' tab at the bottom of your screen) then click on the 'Delete' button. Once the payment method is deleted, it will not be available.

We're currently unable to process refunds via Lidl Pay. However, if you provide the physical card to our team in store they'll be happy to help.
