Halloween falls on 31st of October each year.
In the UK, favourite activities include dressing up in costumes, trick-or-treating, carving pumpkins, decorating the home with spooky Halloween decorations and getting together with family and friends for a Halloween party.
Many people will dress up in Halloween costumes depicting characters from horror films such as vampires, ghosts, witches and zombies.
For simple designs, such as the Jack-Oā-Lantern face, we recommend a large or medium pumpkin; for more intricate designs, a smaller pumpkin is best.
