Lidl Gift Card Terms and Conditions

1. A Lidl Great Britain Limited ('Lidl') gift card ('Gift Card') is only valid for use after it is activated. Activation of the Gift Card will be undertaken at the point of purchase (the till, or at a Lidl self-checkout where activation is available) by a member of staff. Gift Cards are only available for purchase in-store.

2. Gift Cards may be redeemed in full or part payment of goods in Lidl stores within Great Britain. The Gift Card cannot be reloaded, and no change will be given. Multiple Gift Cards with a combined maximum value of up to £1000 can be used in a single transaction.

3. Gift Cards may not be purchased as part of or using any discounts or offers, including but not limited to the Lidl employee discount.

4. From time to time, it may be necessary to exclude certain goods from being paid for with a Gift Card. When goods are excluded from purchase by a Gift Card they will be listed here: www.lidl.co.uk/giftcard. Lidl reserves the right to amend or add to this list of excluded goods at any time.

5. All Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

6. Gift Cards are valid from the date of the initial Gift Card activation until the value of the Gift Card is zero, or until the 'Expiry Date', whichever is sooner. The Expiry Date is the duration or validity period specified on the Gift Card, or 60 months from the activation date if no period is specified on the Gift Card. Any balance remaining at the Expiry Date will be forfeited.

7. Gift Card holders can check the Gift Card's initial and subsequent balance either by using an online balance checker which will be available at here, or in-store at the till, or at a Lidl self-checkout where balance checking is available. After each use the remaining balance will be printed on the receipt.

8. Gift Card holders should retain their receipt on purchase of a Gift Card. A Gift Card should be treated as cash and will not be replaced or reloaded by Lidl if lost, damaged, unreadable or stolen.

9. Lidl reserves the right to amend these Gift Card terms and conditions from time to time where necessary. Notice will be given of such changes where possible.

10. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
