Read our most frequently asked questions regarding our Gift Cards.
Gift Cards can be used in any Lidl Great Britain stores, they can come in a form of a physical Gift Card only. Gift cards can be activated with a credit amount anything between £5 to £100.
No personal data will be stored on the Gift Card.
No. A top up is not possible. When the value of the card has been used it should be disposed of.
The Gift Card is valid for 5 years or until the value of the card has been redeemed.
The current balance of your Gift Card will be displayed on your last receipt. You can also see your balance at the checkout in any Lidl Great Britain store or online at https://www.lidl.co.uk/about-us/giftcard
The remaining balance will stay on your Lidl Gift Card for the validity period of the Gift Card. The balance cannot be redeemed for cash.
Treat your card like cash. In case of loss, theft, or misuse of the Gift Card, Lidl is not obliged to replace it but may try to issue you a new one if you can provide your gift card number and pin.
The Gift Card can be used as payment in all Lidl Stores in Great Britain. Please note it is not possible to use gift cards on our self check out tills.
Unfortunately, no cross-country acceptance of the Gift Cards is possible.

Yes. You can pay for your purchase at any time with one or more Gift Cards up to a value of £1000 per transaction.
The remaining balance will stay on your Lidl Gift Card. A cash payment is not possible. The Gift Card is valid for 5 years after the initial activation.
Yes. If the Gift Card balance is insufficient to fully pay for the purchase, you can pay the balance by cash or card.

It is not possible to transfer money on to the Gift Card. The Gift Card may only be used as payment in Lidl stores.
