Family Day Trips & Outings
As soon as your feeling more settled into a routine with your baby, you can start to plan some day trips and family outings together. During short outings, you can slowly show your little one the world outside their home and start creating memories together. You will be delighted by your babies amazement and laughter as they start to explore the world around them. Of course, there will also be moments when your little one is tired, hungry or overwhelmed. Good preparation will help you feel that you can cope with all eventualities.

Where to go on your first outing with a baby?
The first outing should be a short and easy journey that you feel comfortable making. Longer than normal car journeys, new surroundings and possibly lots of strangers, will make more baby feel more unsetttled. Consider how the outing will fit around baby's routine and give plenty of time to find a routine for feeding and changing on the go, so you must plan to give yourselves plenty of time. On these occasions, use different modes of transport such as car, bike and public transport to find out which way of travelling your baby is happiest with.
Excursion tips with a baby park If you live in the city, a trip into the countryside is ideal, as it's quiet and there are lots of new things to discover. The nearest park is enough to try out, because depending on the time of year, your little one will be happy just to smell the flowers, crawl in the grass or rustle in the autumn leaves. Later on, you can explore the surrounding area of your city together. Zoo What could be more exciting than seeing the animals from picture books in life size? Zoos and animal parks are fascinating for children. While the baby is still marvelling at the animals from a safe distance, toddlers can get up close and personal in the petting zoo. A good alternative that always goes down well on a trip with a toddler is feeding ducks at the lake. Forest Forests are more suitable for older children due to the unpaved paths and plants and mushrooms that are not always completely safe. However, in a suitable pram or baby carrier, even babies can smell the fresh forest air and enjoy the strange bird calls and ancient giant trees. Playground The playground is, of course, the classic excursion destination and the perfect opportunity to meet other children and parents. If several of your friends are parents, you can organise a trip together with your babies to a particularly beautiful playground so that the children can get to know each other while playing and make their first friends.
