    Terms and Conditions of Participation

    Lidl Plus Movie Club

    These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials for the Lidl Plus Movie Club campaign. Claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all customers will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

    Administrator: TLC Worldwide UK Limited, 54 Baker Street, London, England W1U 7BU.


    1. Duration of Promotion:


    1. Promotional Period: Promotion is open in the Lidl Plus app from 00:01 Monday 3rd November 2025 and 23:59 Sunday 30th November 2025 inclusive. The Promotion will automatically end immediately, notwithstanding the stated closing date, once all available 500,000 promotional codes have been claimed. Lidl reserves the right to terminate the Promotion early in this event without prior notice.

    2. Claim Period: Customers must claim their voucher with their promotional code between 00:01 Monday 3rd November 2025 and 23:59 Sunday 28th December 2025 inclusive. All promotional codes will expire 23:59 Sunday 28th December 2025.

    3. Redemption Period: Customers must redeem their voucher between 00:01 Monday 3rd November 2025 and 23:59 Sunday 4th January 2026 inclusive. All vouchers will expire 23:59 Sunday 4th January 2026.


    2. Eligibility:


    1. This promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 18 years old and over who are registered Lidl Plus members and users of the Lidl app. The Lidl app can be downloaded from the "App Store" or on "Google Play”.

    2. Current valid email address required. Internet access required. Purchase necessary.

    3. Members must purchase Lidl’s Favorina Christmas range in store to qualify. Customers will earn digital stamps for every £1 spent on Lidl’s Favorina range. After collecting 10 digital stamps, a customer will unlock their access to the ‘Lidl Plus Movie Club’

    4. Lidl Plus members are eligible to claim one (1) promotional code for a free film as part of the ‘Lidl Plus Movie Club’ throughout the promotional period.


    3. How to participate:


    To enter:


    1. you must purchase a minimum of £1 worth of Favorina branded products (Favorina) at a Lidl store in Great Britain in a single transaction between 06:00am on Monday 3rd November 2025 and 23:59pm on Sunday 30th November inclusive (Promotional Period) and identify yourself as a Lidl Plus customer whilst paying by scanning your digital Lidl Plus card at the checkout;


    2. each £1 spend on Favorina in the Promotional Period is a Qualifying Purchase and each Qualifying Purchase will automatically give you one stamp on the stamp card in your Lidl Plus app. You can make multiple Qualifying Purchases in a single transaction (for example, if you spend £4 on Favorina in a single transaction you will have made four Qualifying Purchases but you will need to spend at least £1 on Favorina in a separate transaction in order to make a further Qualifying Purchase, additional spend on Favorina will not roll over to a subsequent transaction);


    3. once you have completed ten (10) Qualifying Purchases and have ten stamps, the Stamp Card is complete (Completed Stamp Card). You will receive a pop up notification in the app and a reward will automatically become available in the ‘Partner Offers’ section in the left top corner of the Home of the Lidl App.


    4. you must then click ‘Lidl Plus Movie Club’ reward tile and then click ‘Redeem this offer’. A unique, single use promotional code is shown which you need to redeem on the promotional website www.movie-club.co.uk


    5. You must visit the promotional website and register the following details:

    • Title

    • Full name

    • Current valid email address

    • Unique promotional code (found in the Lidl Plus app)


    6. Upon registering, you will receive an e-mail within 3 working days containing a link to Rakuten Tv and your voucher, allowing you to select and rent your film of choice.


    5. Claim Restrictions:


    1. A maximum of 1 voucher claim per person will be allowed across the entire Promotional Period. Additional claims that exceed this limit will be disqualified and any allocated rewards will not be fulfilled.

    2. Customers who make a voucher claim on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.

    3. Claims (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a customer is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this or any other condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’ or any other automated means, that person’s voucher claims will be disqualified and any reward will be void.

    4. Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected voucher claims will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for voucher claims delayed, incomplete or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.


    6. Reward:


    1 x voucher code (value £6) to use with Rakuten TV

    • Each voucher can be used to rent one (1) movie in HD quality available at Rakuten TV, within the selection of content offered by Rakuten TV.

    • The vouchers are valid until the 4th January 2026, codes are only valid in United Kingdom and cannot be used outside this territory.

    • The voucher can only be used once and has no alternative cash redemption value, even if the titles have a lower price than the value of the voucher. Vouchers are not valid for resale.

    • To redeem your unique voucher visit www.rakuten.tv/uk/campaigns/lidl and choose your movie. Click ‘redeem voucher’ and insert your voucher code. Your movie will then appear in the ‘My Library’ section for you to enjoy. To find ‘My Library’ or to watch on another device, you will need to log in to your Rakuten TV account.

    • The rental is valid for 30 days from the moment the voucher is redeemed and you will have 48 hours to watch it from the first playback. The rented title will be in the “My Library” section until the end of the 48h period, during which time you can watch the film as many times as you like.

    • If you don’t have an existing account with Rakuten.tv, you will be required to register at Rakuten TV and accept the Terms of Use, Contractual Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Cookies.     • Rakuten TV reserves the right to withdraw the content available on the platform at any time at is sole discretion.

    • Rakuten TV reserves the right to invalidate the vouchers for security reasons or to ensure good performance of the service.

    • After the expiry of the redemption period, the vouchers will become invalid without any liability for Rakuten TV.

    • Any cost for the internet connection or any other unspecified cost must be borne by the user.

    • The rewards are non-transferable, cannot be resold, auctioned, or exchanged and cannot be redeemed in whole or part for cash. In the event of circumstances outside of the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to provide (in whole or in part) an alternative similar reward (as applicable) of equal or greater value.


    7. It is the responsibility of the customer to provide correct, up-to-date details when participating in the promotion and when claiming their film. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for customers failing to supply accurate information which affects reward claim or delivery of their reward.


    8. Neither the Promoter, nor its agents or distributors can accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged rewards. Lost or stolen rewards will not be replaced.


    9. Each unique code is for one (1) claim only. Once you have submitted your claim, that code will no longer be valid for further retries. Any attempts to enter the code more than once or codes not intended for use in this promotion, may result in disqualification and all such claims will be declared void.


    10. The Promoter and the Administrator reserve the right to require customers to provide verification of their identity including date of birth and eligibility including original documents (passport, driving licence or equivalent form of identification clearly showing the customer’s date of birth) and requesting proof of purchase which they must provide within 10 days from request. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the reward or withdraw the reward entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the customer where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s claim requirements or otherwise where a customer has gained and unfair advantage in participating or claimed using fraudulent means.


    11. Any additional costs which may be incurred in this promotion in the context of participation, such as internet costs and other additional services that go beyond those described services for the applicable reward (for example, personal expenses whilst on holiday) are not included in the reward and must be paid by customers separately.


    12. Your claim will be deemed invalid if (including but not limited to):


    • You reside outside of the UK.

    • You are not a Lidl Plus member.

    • You have not registered your claim by completing all requested fields on the promotional website correctly.

    • You have failed in any way to otherwise comply with these Terms and Conditions as determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion.


    13. Insofar as permitted by law, the Promoter, the Administrator, their agents and distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate or accept any liability for personal loss, damage or injury suffered by any customer entering the promotion or as a result of accepting your reward. Your statutory rights are unaffected. Nothing shall limit or exclude the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.


    14. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion, and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion or these Terms and Conditions, at any stage or invalidate any affected claims. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.


    15. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s claim to the promotion.

    17. Any persons participating info this Promotion do so on complete acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.


    18. The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.


    19. If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.


    20. The Administrator is responsible for fulfilling the reward. Any personal data captured in the fulfilment of the promotion will only be used for validation of claims, claim notification and for administering the Promotion, unless you have expressly consented for it to be used for any other purposes (for example, in subscribing to the Promoter’s or the Administrator’s marketing newsletters). Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current data protection legislation. Data will be stored for three months after the close of the promotion before deletion. By participating in the promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described in these Terms and Conditions.


    21. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the law of the relevant country for each customer, and customers submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country they reside in.


    22. Data Protection


    a. Details of the data controller:

    Lidl Great Britain Limited is the controller for the processing of the personal data of each Participant. Lidl Great Britain Limited has appointed a data protection officer who is available at: data.protection@lidl.co.uk.


    b. Categories and origin of the data:

    In order to operate the Scheme, the following personal data will be disclosed to Lidl Great Britain Limited by Lidl Stiftung & Co. KG, Stiftsbergstraße 1, 74167 Neckarsulm,Germany:


    i. customer ID of each Participant in the Scheme;


    ii. the first name and surname as well as the e-mail address and telephone number of each Winner.


    Furthermore, Lidl Great Britain Limited may collect any other personal data required to send or hand over the Prize Coupons directly to each Winner.


    c. Purposes and legal bases of processing:

    Lidl Great Britain Limited will use the personal data collected to operate the Scheme (e.g. drawing winners, notifying winners, sending the prize). This processing takes place because you have given Lidl Great Britain Limited your consent (Art 6.1.a GDPR). Photographs or videos of the Winner could be taken during the Prize giving; these may be published together with the name and hometown of any Winner in promotional media of Lidl Great Britain Limited (e.g., press release, lidl.co.uk, employee magazine, Facebook). The processing of this data is based on our legitimate interest so Lidl Great Britain Limited can promote itself and its prize draws (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). In addition, there is a public interest (in particular on the part of the other participants) to see that a prize draw is taking place and prizes are being won. You have the right to object to your personal information being published or made available, or request to reduce the amount of information published or made available. You can exercise these rights by emailing: data.protection@lidl.co.uk. In such circumstances, Lidl Great Britain Ltd must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Agency if challenged.


    d. Recipients/categories of recipient:

    Data is only transferred to third parties where this is necessary for the implementation of the Prize Draw (e.g. sending the Prizes via a logistics company) or in order to publish any Winner (e.g. on Facebook). Apart from that, we do not transfer the data to third parties.


    e. Storage time/criteria for determining storage time:

    At the end of the Prize Draw and announcement of each Winner, the personal data of each Participant will be deleted.


    f. Rights of data subjects:

    Participants have the right to obtain information, free of charge, about the personal data stored about them. In addition, a Participant has the right to request the deletion or restriction of processing of its personal data as well as the right to receive a copy of the data in a structured format. A Participant has the right at any time to object to data processing that is necessary in order to protect legitimate interests of Lidl Great Britain Limited or a third party. Where a Participant has provided its consent, it is entitled to withdraw consent at any time.


    g. You have the right to make a complaint with the Supervisory Authority in the United Kingdom which is the Information Commissioners Office (ICO). A complaint can be lodged with ICO on its website at: www.ico.org.uk or by contacting their helpline on 0303 123 1113.
