Tasting note:

Barbera d’Alba Superiore is a classic red wine and is the third most-planted Italian red grape variety after Sangiovese and Montepulciano. Famous for Ferrero chocolates, truffles and Barolo, Alba is at the heart of the Piemonte region, which makes admirably refreshing dry reds from Barbera. With a light cherry scent and good flavour, this dry wine is best served with spaghetti Bolognese and lasagne.
