Portugal is not a large producer of sparkling wine but the best come from the coastal Bairrada region. This example is fruity, smooth and not too dry, showing herb notes for a fresh and crisp, lifted sparkling wine. With good fruit and integrated fizz, a glass of this would be great with savoury canapés.
