Following an employee vote, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has been chosen as our new national charity partner. Over the next 3 years, we’ll help the NSPCC reach over 1 million primary school children through its Speak out Stay safe programme and give them the knowledge they need to stay safe from abuse.
Lidl's funding will support NSPCC volunteers (and their friendly mascot Buddy) to deliver workshops and assemblies in primary schools up and down the country, teaching children about what abuse is, that they should never worry in silence, that abuse is never their fault and who to turn to if they need to speak out.
Over the next three years, the energy and dedication of our wonderful employees and the support of our loyal customers will be vital in helping us to protect an entire generation of children. We aim to raise £3 million over the duration of our partnership, so keep an eye out for fundraising activities in your local store and please dig deep! Every penny raised will help to keep Lidl ones safe.
