As proud supporters of Keep Britain Tidy we are delighted to have helped launch an exciting new initiative to inspire young people to get active and play a lead role in improving their own local environment.
This programme engages the next generation by encouraging them to reduce litter and waste and get involved in improving their local parks and green spaces. Our customers also contribute to this cause too because every time you buy one of our 5p carrier bags a proportion of the proceeds goes to Keep Britain Tidy.
Through the sales of these bags we have committed to donating £500,000 to Keep Britain Tidy over the next 12 months.
We have also rebranded our iconic Lidl carrier bags for the first time since we entered the UK in 1994 to support this initiative with the artwork now bearing the Keep Britain Tidy logo and other environmental iconography.
