How do I subscribe to the newsletter?
Subscription to the newsletter takes place in a 4-stage process:
- Enter your e-mail address in the 'E-mail address' field
- Choose which type of newsletter you would like to receive, either 'HTML' (with pictures) or 'Text' (plain text)
- Find your preferred store via the automated postcode finder. In the newsletter you will then receive offers which are currently available in your preferred store. You can also enter your Forename and Surname.
- Click on 'send'. After a short time, you will receive a confirmation e-mail, which is used to activate your newsletter subscription (you must activate your subscription before you can receive the newsletter).
If you wish to change your details in the future like for example your preferred store, you can do so via the corresponding links in each newsletter. |
Is there a charge to receive the newsletter?
No, the email newsletter is free. All that is required is an active email address. Once you have subscribed, the newsletter will automatically be sent to your email account.
Are my personal details recorded during my website visit?
We do not collect any of your personal details during your visit to www.lidl.co.uk! However, in order to customise your homepage experience and make it as enjoyable as possible, we do use cookies.
How can I locate my nearest store?
We have set up an easy-to-use store search feature on our website, which you can use to find your nearest store, by postcode, county, town or city. You can also see its location and get directions on a printable map.
Why do I need to enter a postcode to be able to find the nearest store, and to see the current offers?
By choosing your preferred store, products displayed on the website are currently available in your local store.
Will my favourite Lidl store saved?
Yes, if you have cookies enabled on your web browser. In order to show current products in our latest offers, the entered postcode is saved to show current products on offer in your local store.
What are Cookies and why are they used on the lidl.co.uk website?
A Cookie is a small text file, which is stored locally on your computer. This file makes using the website more personalised to you by keeping your preferred store and the items that you might add to the shopping basket. You are able to control whether cookies are allowed on your computer through your Internet browser’s security settings. See the Internet browser’s user documentation for further details on how this can be done.
What does the small pencil symbol under each item mean?
This is our new service for you: you can compile and print your own shopping list with the pencil symbol. Only products that you have selected with the pencil symbol will be listed.
How can I find out my nearest store's opening hours?
For opening hours at your local store, go to the 'Stores' page within the Service section and enter your postcode to find the opening hours of your nearest Lidl store. Alternatively, please call our Location line on 0870 444 1234.
How do I apply for a job at Lidl?
The easiest way to apply for a job at Lidl is via the 'Jobs' section of this website, which lists all available jobs, both here in the UK and internationally. Application forms can be downloaded in .PDF format for job opportunities available in the UK.
Alternatively, if you are interested in applying for a job in one of our stores, you can of course hand in your application form and accompanying documentation at your local store. These will then be forwarded to the correct department. |
