Management Placement

Our 48-week management placement programme is designed for undergraduates on a sandwich degree course, which allows you to test drive a career in a fast-paced retail environment. If you want to finish your degree with valuable related work experience, our Management Placement Sandwich Course is just the vehicle for you to be able to get to the heart of our business and learn key skills in team-working, motivation, adaptability, communication and proactivity that will help your long term employability. The 48 week programme consists of four clearly defined stages. Basic store training for 12 weeks, then 3 periods of 10 weeks in either Property, Construction, Sales or Logistics departments, finished off with 2 weeks in Head Office.

The Role:

  • Learning a hands-on-approach to all areas of our business
  • Contributing to sales maximisation and cost controls
  • Developing your management and training skills
  • Extensive on-the-job training programme
